The pace of EU-level regulation of securitisation gathered force in 2013, continually expanding and changing.
As a boutique law firm led by senior securitisation lawyers, Raines & Co did not use a full-time knowledge lawyer.
So began in 2014 an ambitious, computerised EU regulatory knowhow project, which grew more ambitious with Brexit and still more ambitious with the 1 November 2024 bifurcation of UK securitisation regulation into PRA and FCA regimes.
This project developed into a powerful regulatory know-how tool, deployed in advising other law firms and their clients, in publications, and in client training.
